By downloading, opening, or using White Owl Rising you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our disclaimers. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

White Owl Rising is a free, independent directory of recovery-related community resources: 12-step and Celebrate Recovery meetings, sober living homes, detox and treatment centers, second chance employers, food banks, transportation, churches, veteran support, and crisis lines. It is informational only. We are not a treatment provider, healthcare provider, employer, housing provider, or emergency service.

You agree not to use White Owl Rising to:

• Break any law or encourage others to break the law.
• Buy, sell, advertise, or solicit drugs, alcohol, or any illegal goods or services.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or endanger another person.
• Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or spam listings.
• Scrape, copy, or resell the directory for commercial purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, its database, or administrator accounts.

Our Community Guidelines apply to anything you submit or share.

• Verify details — hours, addresses, availability, cost, and eligibility — directly with the provider before you travel or rely on a listing.
• Make your own decisions about treatment, housing, employment, and spiritual practice.
• Only submit resource information you believe is accurate and that you have the right to share.
• Seek professional or emergency help when you need it.

When you submit a resource, correction, or story, you give White Owl Rising a non-exclusive right to publish, edit for clarity, and remove that content. We may decline or remove any submission for any reason, including inaccuracy or a violation of these terms.

The White Owl Rising and Recovery Guide names, owl logo, artwork, written copy, design, and software are owned by White Owl Rising and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the branding or reproduce substantial parts of the app without written permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners and appear for identification only — their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

White Owl Rising is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, White Owl Rising and its volunteers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from any resource, provider, employer, or organization listed in it — including inaccurate listings, unavailable services, or the acts of any third party.

We improve the app continually and may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also update these terms; the revised date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
